Excalibur Sires receives
Governor's International Trade Award
ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA –May
25th, 2007 –

Minnesota
First Lady, Mary Pawlenty, presents David Winkels with an
International Trade Award.
Excalibur Sires
started out with one Minnesota man almost fifteen years ago. Fifteen years later that
same man,
David Winkels, will be accepting the Governor’s International
Trade Award during the World Trade Week Luncheon being held at
the Saint Paul RiverCentre.
The Minnesota
Governor’s International Trade Award is awarded to
Minnesota-based businesses that have demonstrated growth in
international business over the past three years, increased or
maintained employment in the state on Minnesota, and developed
novel ideas or approaches to doing business internationally.
“The whole
state benefits when Minnesota companies take their products,
services and commodities to the world marketplace,” Governor Tim
Pawlenty said. “Those international sales account for about 10
percent of our gross state product and provide many jobs that
would not otherwise exist.” Minnesota's first lady, Mary
Pawlenty, is scheduled to recognize David and Julie Winkels of
Excalibur Sires at the World Trade Week Luncheon this afternoon.
Excalibur Sires is the first business in the city of Rochester
and in Olmsted county to receive the Governor’s International
Trade Award.

The success of
Excalibur Sires is also largely due to the international and
domestic distributors in over 26 states and 25 countries that
did an incredible job marketing the company’s bulls. Excalibur
Sires’ has continued to expand their sales force by providing
distributors with opportunities to earn great money and not be
held back by any sales limitations.
