Sizzling Summer Special!
It's HOT! And we know the struggles you and your dairy producers are having getting cows settled. We also know that it may be more difficult to sell full retail right now, so we want to help by absorbing part of the "discounting pressure" during this season. So, we've taken a select 7 bulls and have reduced the wholesale price on those for any order placed July 13, 2007 through August 7, 2007. We have also furnished flyers that you can use on your sales calls to enhance your sales during the hot July weather. The flyers advertise "Pick 3, 4, or 5". If a producer picks 10 units each of 3 different bulls, he receives 30% off the order. 40% off of 10 units of 4 different bulls and 50% off of 10 units of 5 different bulls. This special will surely help out your dairy producers during the heat while heating up your sales. As always, you're free to run specials for your customers as you see fit. We simply wanted to help soften the mid summer "discounting blow" that can be seen with the summer heat and provide you with a sales piece to accompany that effort. Good Luck!

Bojangles: Making the news!
Bojangles is Hoard's Dairyman's #3 bull as published in the June 2007 issue. Bojangles Ranked #3 on 3 different lists: Net Merit $, Fluid Merit$, and Cheese Merit $. Bulls ranking ahead of him were Select Sires' O Man at #1 and Alta's Ramos at the #2 slot.Undoubtedly, you have customers who saw these lists and were impressed with Bojangles ratings. I wonder, though, if anyone really took time to break these three bulls down. If they did, they'd quickly discover Bojangles is a really great bull (and a great bargain as well).
From the number #3 spot, Bojangles easily overshadows his #1 & #2 NM$ competitors. He boasts a type proof of +2.27 in comparison to O Man's +0.89 and Ramos' +1.71. Furthermore, his milk production proof of +1431 is much higher than Ramos' 523 or O Man's 1128. At $55 dollars retail and +89F and +50P, Bojangles is a huge bargain compared to Ramos' $75 price tag with only 38F and 30P. It's easy to see why Bojangles is the "Real American Idol".
Speaking of American Idol, a big thank you to Wes for a great Bojangles advertising blitz. You surely have seen the "Real American Idol" advertisements he's placed in several dairy journals including ___________, ____________. Wes has done one better and has posted those to this website so you may conveniently print your own Bojangles "The Real American Idol" flyers on demand from your computer!
